PGENF – Graduate Stricto Sensu Programs in Nursery (Master Degree) – Rate 3

PGENF's program aims professional training in many areas, qualified in high education teaching (undergraduate, graduate and post-graduation programs - Lato and Stricto Sensu) in Health, capable of doing research in an original and independent way. PPGENF offers 2 lines of research in Nursery and as a multidisciplinary program PGENF'S students come from several professional categories: physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists, occupational therapists, among others.

OBJECTIVES

-Train high-class human resources and develop intellectual and critical abilities in Nursing;

-Train nurses for advanced professional practice development aiming to consolidate the Brazilian Health System (SUS);

-Train nurses to use evidence-based practices and scientific method when solving problems in their professional scenarios;

-Produce and disseminate creative and innovative knowledge and technologies covering the needs in health care, teaching, management and administration, especially in Nursing, aiming SUS consolidation and local, regional and national development.;

-Promote integration improvements between the university and health services in different health care levels;

-Multiply produced knowledge inside the university through teaching, research and assistance in Health field, focusing in the community health problems to develop Health and Nursing under SUS services.
