Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, graduated from the University Center of Belo Horizonte - Unibh (2016), whose course completion work was based on the "Use of activated carbon obtained through bovine bone for the treatment of effluents generated in refrigerators". Master in Materials Engineering from the Federal Center of Technological Education of Minas Gerais - CEFET-MG (2020), in which the dissertation was entitled "Production of artificial stone using residue from iron ore processing". Currently, Ph.D. student of the Graduate Program in Materials Physics and Chemistry - FQMat (UFSJ), member of the GPQM Research Group, guided by Prof. Professor Marco Antonio Schiavon.

Graduated in Chemistry Bachelor from the Federal University of São João del-Rei – UFSJ (2021) with Course Completion Work entitled " Cu-In-S-Zn/ZnS Quantum Dots Applied in Biological Marking". PhD student in Physics and Chemistry of Materials, at UFSJ, under the guidance of Prof. Marco Antonio SCHIAVON. Master in Physics and Chemistry of Materials, at UFSJ. Currently, she is a PhD student of the Chemistry of Materials Research Group (GPQM), under the guidance of Prof. Marco Antonio SCHIAVON. Develops a research project in the area of synthesis and characterization of Lead-free inorganic nanocrystals perovskites and quaternary quantum dots, for application in luminescent solar concentrators. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (2024) from the University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ) and is currently a graduate student in the Materials Physics and Chemistry postgraduate program (FQMat) and a member of the Materials Chemistry Research Group (GPQM), both at UFSJ, under the guidance of Professor PhD Marco Antônio Schiavon. Ariel developed two undergraduate research projects, “Perovskite Quantum Dots Energy Transference: A Proposal of Conversion of Ultraviolet Light to Visible Light” (2020) and “Study of the Interactions Between Carbon Nanoparticles and Hydrocarbons by Photoluminescence Spectroscopy” (2021) - the latter received a commendation. Moreover, he also worked on the bibliographic review “Carbon Dots as Florescent Sensors for Organic Molecules” (2024) as his undergraduate thesis. Nowadays, he is carrying out a research project that involves the synthesis and characterization of carbon dots and their applications. CAPES scholarship holder.

Undergraduate student for Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ). Developed a project in the area of artificial intelligence to study the physical properties of CdTe quantum dots. She is currently working on a project also in the area of artificial intelligence, but for the study of lead-free perovskite solar cells. CNPq scholarship holder.

Graduated in Biotechnology Engineering from Ikiam Amazon Regional University (EC) in 2023. She is currently a master student in the Postgraduate Program in Physics and Chemistry of Materials (FQMAT) at the Federal University of São João del-Rei (UFSJ) and a CAPES scolarship holder. She is an international member of the Research Group in Chemistry of Materials (GPQM), supervised by Prof. Dr. Marco Antônio SCHIAVON. Interested in biomaterials research and the development of innovative technical solutions that contribute to remediation and sustainability challenges. Works with bacterial cellulose and its biotechnological-chemical improvement to be used as a matrix for adsorption and/or photocatalysis of pollutants in aqueous solutions. She believes that science and innovation integrated with society are the basis to resiliently manage the future challenges of Latin America. |
