We aim to:
- analyze nonlinear dynamic systems for description and validation.
- develop models for systems and processes in general and control applications, such as biomedical, electrical machinery, power and energy electronics.
- use nonlinear representations: NARMAX, neural networks, fuzzy systems, individual based models (IBM) for system modeling.
- apply stochastic and multi-objective optimization in system identification.
Systems of interest: electronics, mechatronics, electric power, electromagnetic, biological, economic, social and epidemiological.
