We aim to:

  1. analyze nonlinear dynamic systems for description and validation.
  2. develop models for systems and processes in general and control applications, such as biomedical, electrical machinery, power and energy electronics.
  3. use nonlinear representations: NARMAX, neural networks, fuzzy systems, individual based models (IBM) for system modeling.
  4. apply stochastic and multi-objective optimization in system identification.

Systems of interest: electronics, mechatronics, electric power, electromagnetic, biological, economic, social and epidemiological.
