PPGEQ- Graduate Programs in Chemical Engineering (Master Degree) - Rating 3

The Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering offers a Master Degree Program in Chemical Process Development field, and is approved by CAPES in Chemical Engineering basic area and Engineering II Evaluation Area.

The Chemical Process Development field involves industrial process activities research and development aiming to train professionals capable of meeting the demands from technological and scientific breakthroughs. In that direction, pursuits new proceedings development to improve quality not only in process but in the products as well through clean technologies, aiming always to minimize implications of the productive sector in environment and society quality in general.

The activities of the program have begun in January, 2014 and the classes in the second semester of 2014. In 2019, a restructuration of the PPGEQ was approved by the High Council of UFSJ.

Field: Chemical Process Development

Research Projects developed by the students at PPGEQ, mentored by academic staff are divided in two research lines:

1. Chemical reactions Engineering and materials development
2. Environment process and control
