AFFILIATION AND DISAFFILIATION

For professor affiliation or renewal, the Board will request an opinion from one of its faculty members, who must indicate the teaching and student guidance activities to be carried out by the teacher. The opinion must be appreciated by the Collegiate.

1. The accreditation of each professor will be valid for three and five years, for the master's and doctoral degrees respectively, and may be renewed, at the discretion of the Board, for periods of equal duration.

2. Each professor will be evaluated internally by the Collegiate every three and five years, respectively for the master's and doctorate, regarding the fulfillment of the PPBE requirements and CAPES recommendations.

3. For the Academic Master's Program, the following are conditions for accreditation:

a) Have a minimum production of one indexed article per year, in the last three years.

b) Have been supervisor or co-supervisor of at least two dissertations.

c) Demonstrate continuous performance as coordinator of research projects funded by funding agencies.

d) Provide laboratory infrastructure for the development of dissertations.

e) Demonstrate scientific performance centered on one of the Program's research lines.

f) In the case of re-accreditation to the Program, having completed the interstice of three years, during which the conditions (a), (c) and (e) above must be met.

g) Cases considered special must be evaluated by the Program Board.

4. For the Doctoral Program, the following are conditions for accreditation:

a) Have a minimum production of two indexed articles per year, in the last five years.

b) Have been a doctoral supervisor or co-supervisor of at least two theses.

c) Demonstrate continuous performance as coordinator of research projects funded by funding agencies.

d) Provide laboratory infrastructure for the development of theses.

e) Demonstrate scientific performance centered on one of the Program's research lines.

f) In the case of re-accreditation to the Program, having completed the interstice of five years, during which the conditions (a), (c) and (e) above must be met.

g) Cases considered special must be evaluated by the Program Board.

5. For the de-accreditation, the Collegiate will request an opinion from one of its faculty members, who must explain the situation(s) motivating the indication of de-accreditation. The opinion must be appreciated by the Collegiate. The conditions for de-accreditation are the qualification of the accredited professor in one or more of the following situations:

a) Not having met the conditions necessary for re-accreditation, listed above.

b) Not having met the recommendations of the Course Collegiate, regarding the fulfillment of the goals, which have been established for a positive evaluation by CAPES.

c) Have acted in such a way as to denigrate the Program's image.
